Rachel has 20 years of experience in the corporate
banking sector and has spent time working at banks in three different
countries. For the past couple of years Rachel has specialised in Education and
Childcare banking in Australia, working with a number of clients including ASX
listed childcare centres and some of Victoria’s most high profile private
schools. This role has given her an understanding of the key issues that
influence the sector and an appreciation of some of the challenges it faces.

Rachel joined the board in 2023 and was appointed to the
finance committee where she brings her skills of financial analysis and
interpretation as well as sector experience to the role of assisting the
treasurer.

A local Port Melbourne resident and Bubup parent, Rachel
has had 3 children attend the centre over the past 7 years, 2 of whom have now
graduated to the local Primary School. During this time she has utilised many
of the services that Bubup has to offer including daycare, 3 and 4YO kinder,
playgroup and the onsite MCHN. Having had such positive experiences of the
centre she is delighted to now be a member of the board.
